Who has a disability?

I am working with a young boy who has a physical disability. He is lying on the carpet reading his book, while I clean the kitchen after dinner.

He calls me over to help him. When When I look at him, he has rolled over, can’t roll back and can’t see his book. He keeps repeating, “I can’t see, I can’t see” about six times fast, as I run from the kitchen to the living room (it is an open concept house). As I get closer, he gets louder.
I say to him jokingly, “okay okay, I know, I can see what’s happening.”
He says without missing a beat, “oh, I thought you were blind.”
I break into hysterics, he continues to read quietly.
